Explore BookWidgets

You can create fun interactive exercises with BookWidgets on any device (Chromebooks, smartphones, tablets, PC's). You can also create automatically graded tests and give students feedback very easily.

Create a Quiz, Share and Answer as a student

  1. Click on the Quiz Widget (or worksheet) (Difference: In a quiz, the question follow each other, question by question. In a Worksheet, the questions are on one page.)

  2. When done, click on “preview” to see if everything looks good. This is what the student will see.

  3. Go over the extra quiz options to see which ones are important.

  4. When you’re done, click on “share” in the upper left corner.

  5. Select a course in Google Classroom

  6. Click on “Send to Google Classroom

  7. Go to a student account and join the right Google Classroom course. You’ll see the shared BookWidgets exercise. Click on the link and answer the questions, click on submit.

Review and return student work

  1. Go to the shared exercise in “Classwork” and click on “View assignment” or on the work that has been handed in already.

  2. You can see the test is already automatically graded.

  3. Click on the student to open her/his work.

  4. Give grades and add a comment below a question as feedback. You can still change the grades. Go back to Google Classroom when you’re done. It will save the new grades and feedback.

  5. Return the work to the student.

  6. Student can open the returned work by clicking on “View assignment” and on “your work” to see his/her work with the teacher feedback.

Sharing Student Answers with co-teachers in Google Classroom

To share student answers with co-teachers in Google Classroom:
  1. You need to indicate that you want the answers to be shared with your co-teachers
  2. Verify that the person you're sharing with is a co-teacher of the Google Classroom course
  3. Your co-teacher needs to see Google in his 'My Courses' list under Grads & reporting.

Conclusion

Bookwidget is a game-changer for educators who want to maximise the quality of their teaching and learning experience, especially during this unprecedented situation.

This is a smart learning tool designed specifically for educators who want greater student engagement, user-friendly platform, instant and meaningful feedback as well as a variety of interactive activities. Try it and see it for yourself!
